Lydia joined Financial Council in June of 2023 as a Paraplanner, assisting with the analysis of strategies, risks and opportunities related to client’s retirement goals, cashflow and overall retirement plan. Soon after, she studied for and passed all relevant exams and is now a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner holding the FINRA Series SIE, 7 and 63 securities registrations as a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA/SIPC a Registered Investment Adviser.

Lydia is a graduate of the College of Business & Economics at Towson University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Financial Council, Lydia held several financial services positions at T. Rowe Price assisting clients with their accounts and complex, escalated cases. Her time at T. Rowe Price helped her to become detail-oriented and precise in caring for clients and their accounts.
During her time at Towson University, Lydia was a member of the gymnastics team. After college, she spent some time coaching her former club team. While originally from Harford County, Lydia and her family now live in Westminster, MD. She and her husband welcomed their first child, Matthew, in January of 2023 and their second child, Lucas, in November of 2025. Lydia is an avid Ravens fan, and, in the winter, she spends her time watching NCAA gymnastics. She also enjoys traveling, trying different breweries and spending quality time with family and friends.
