Bobby Burns is the Branch Administrative Supervisor for Baird’s Edina, Minnetonka, St. Paul, and Rochester offices, where he leads branch operations and administrative support with a focus on consistency, efficiency, and advisor experience. In his role, Bobby partners closely with advisors, associates, and leadership to ensure the day to day operations across the branches run smoothly while supporting the long term success of the teams. He is known for his practical, solutions oriented approach and his commitment to building strong processes that allow advisors to focus on serving clients.
Bobby began his career in financial services in 2014 and brings more than a decade of experience across trading operations, portfolio design and management, financial planning, and production support. He joined Baird in 2021 as a Senior Client Specialist, where he developed a deep understanding of advisor workflows and client service needs. He later served as a Technology Solutions Consultant, working directly with advisors to modernize practices and improve operational efficiency. This combination of field experience and technology expertise gives Bobby a well rounded perspective as he supports multiple branches, bridging operational excellence with practical advisor support.
Outside of work, Bobby enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. He can often be found rock climbing, playing pickleball, mountain biking, or exploring new trails.
