Andy Trasowech, CFP®
Director
With over 25 years of experience in wealth management, Andy Trasowech is dedicated to helping clients navigate retirement and long-term investing with confidence. His expertise lies in keeping investment strategies simple, understandable, and focused on equities for long-term growth. Over the years, his practice has evolved to specialize in high-net-worth individuals, providing them with tailored financial strategies to preserve and grow their wealth.
Andy earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Pomona College and a Master’s degree in Economics from Claremont Graduate University. He has taught both economics and statistics at the collegiate level and holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation. Outside of work, Andy enjoys biking and walking along the Mississippi River and remains actively involved in the community as a board member of the Friendly House.
Will Trasowech, CFP®
Financial Advisor
Will Trasowech helps clients navigate retirement with confidence by making financial planning simple, clear, and effective. He specializes in retirement planning and investment management, following the same long-term, equity-focused approach as his father and colleague, Andy. His priority is to ensuring clients not only have a solid financial plan, but also truly understand it.
Before joining Baird, Will Trasowech worked as a software developer at Nationwide Mutual Insurance and later at MakUsafe, a technology startup in Des Moines. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa, where he developed a strong foundation in problem-solving and strategic thinking. This technical background gives him a unique perspective on financial planning, allowing him to approach investments with discipline and precision. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. Originally from Davenport, he now lives in Chicago, where he enjoys exploring the city and traveling.
Megan Obenauf
Client Specialist
Megan Obenauf joined Baird in 2024 and recently earned her securities license. She plays a key role in managing the team’s day-to-day operations while also supporting business development initiatives. With a strong commitment to providing exceptional service, Megan is dedicated to ensuring a seamless and positive experience for clients.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Iowa. Following her undergraduate studies, she pursued cosmetology school, obtaining her license and gaining two years of experience in the beauty industry before transitioning into financial services.
A lifelong resident of the Quad Cities, Megan is actively involved in her community. She is a dedicated member of the Backwater Gamblers Waterski Show Team and enjoys boating and snowmobiling in her free time.
