Our last advisor used all our money to fund a trip to Vegas, and charged us for his airfare and hotel. He gambled most of it away, came back and told us the market had failed us and we need to continue working till age 87.
Obviously we were skeptical when we first met with Larry. But his calm and educational approach helped put our fears at ease and we were ready to invest again. He created a manageable plan that allowed us to refrain from eating cat food while we were still working and in retirement. In addition, he assured us that he would not take our money to Vegas. He said, “why incur those additional expenses when there are now casinos within a short drive from here. That means more money to “work” with”.
