Berenice graduated with a law degree from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) in 1994. She began her career as an associate of Zazueta Montano, chief of law at a private law firm. She continued her profession specializing in law in private and government corporations as a chief legal officer. Berenice worked as a renowned social services worker in San Diego County, monitoring human rights for communities. She knows and cares about each client, making sure each one receives the time and service they need. Berenice has been a CTEC Registered Tax Preparer (CRTP) since 2012 and a Notary Public Commission since 2016. She has been a professor at the Diocese of Tijuana for the preparation of university seminarians since 2021. She speaks Spanish fluently.
