For 40 years, Michael Massello has been the paramount definition of an entrepreneur, leader and forward-thinking individual who has used his skills and talents to drive results. Over his career he has worked for General Electric Co., Pepcor Oil & Natural Gas Co., and (SCA) Scheduling Corporation of America, where he oversaw large scale multimillion dollar projects countrywide.

With learned skills from previous employment, Michael then founded and led as its CEO, National Business Consultants in Chicago in 1979. His company specialized in streamlining and reducing overhead costs in the areas of manufacturing, distribution, engineering, and customer service. Its primary services included beneficial changes in processes, organization, and structure. This in turn, led to measurable improvements in customer service and productivity while adding bottom line revenue for his clients. After validating NBC’s primary consulting services, these companies often contracted with NBC to help in other company centric areas, such as sales, consolidation, and private equity assessment.

Clients included service and manufacturing, domestic and overseas companies, such as:

• Newell & Rubbermaid Manufacturing & Distribution
• Valspar Paint Companies
• Blistex Corporation

Michael is a graduate of well-known and reputable Fenwick H.S. in Chicago. He received his bachelor’s degree from St. Mary's University in Winona, MN., and his MBA from Northern Illinois University. Post education, he served our country proudly for seven years as a member of the U.S. Army Reserves.

Michael was a 30-year member of Butler National Golf Club in Chicago that for 17 years hosted the WGA's Western Open in Oak Brook. He is also a 25-year member of Rich Harvest Farms in Springfield, which previously hosted the Solheim Cup, Western Junior, Western Amateur, Arnold Palmer Cup, and the 2021 NCAA Women's and Men's Team finals. In 2022 Rich Harvest Farms hosted the LIV Tournament to much fanfare and resounding success.

Even today Michael is an avid golfer. He currently holds the distinction of low gross (-7), course record 65 (bogey free round) at Cress Creek Country club in Chicago. He is married to his lovely wife Jary of 44 years, and has two sons, Nicholas, and Daniel.
