Meet Cathie Mannion 

Cathie brings a broad background in both public and private accounting to her role at AvantiPRO, along with the perspective that comes from working with businesses and individuals through many stages of their financial lives. She holds credentials as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and an Enrolled Agent (EA), pairing strong technical training with years of hands-on tax and accounting experience. 

Education & Experience 

Cathie specializes in tax preparation, tax planning, and proactive tax management for entrepreneurs, professionals, and retirees, working alongside the wealth management team so tax decisions are made with the full financial picture in view. By coordinating tax planning with a client's broader goals, she can help identify opportunities, anticipate potential tax consequences, and build strategies that are revisited throughout the year rather than only at filing time. 

Cathie has always enjoyed solving puzzles, and an early tax professor once described a tax return as a complex puzzle waiting to be worked through. The idea stuck with her. She found that tax work combined her analytical nature with the chance to help people think through decisions about their businesses, finances, and futures. Tax law can be complicated, but Cathie enjoys translating it into plain language and helping clients see where thoughtful planning today might create better options tomorrow.
