Walter Paden Reed was born and raised in San Angelo, TX. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Angelo State University in 2016 with a B.S. in Physics and minors in Math and Geology and went on to earn his M.S. in Geophysics from the University of Houston in 2018. Before entering the financial industry, Walter worked as a Geoscientist for ExxonMobil, focusing on both conventional and unconventional fields in the Permian Basin.
He is an Investment Advisor Representative, holding FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law) licenses held through LPL Financial.
Walter brings a valuable perspective shaped by growing up in a family of financial professionals and by his time in the energy sector, where he saw firsthand the vital role energy plays in the economy. He enjoys helping clients at every stage of life—from those just starting out to those planning for or enjoying retirement.
Walter and his wife, Reagan, have three children. In his free time, he enjoys family activities, traveling, tennis, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He also a part-time preacher and serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Texas School of Preaching.
