Scott Womack serves as Managing Director for the Memphis market, combining more than 35 years of industry leadership. With a passion for helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals, Scott has built his career on developing meaningful client relationships and guiding people toward long-term financial security.
Prior to joining Ashford Advisors, Scott spent three and a half decades with State Farm Insurance, serving in leadership roles across multiple locations. Throughout his distinguished career, he earned numerous professional accolades, including qualification for State Farm's prestigious Chairman's Circle 13 times. His team achieved a national ranking of No. 2, and he qualified for company incentive trips 27 times, including achieving the highest level of recognition in two of his final three years. Scott's commitment to leadership is also reflected in his mentorship of more than 70 agents and an exceptional 95% retention rate among those he helped develop.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern New Mexico University and has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation through The American College. He has also qualified as a leader with the Million-Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an internationally recognized association of financial professionals.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Scott brings the same discipline, determination, and service-oriented mindset to his professional life, that shaped his military experience. He considers Memphis his hometown and has deep ties to the community he serves. Scott and his wife, Amy, are the proud parents of three children and grandparents to six grandchildren.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys golfing, traveling with his family, and cheering on his favorite Tennessee teams, including the Tennessee Volunteers and Tennessee Titans. He and Amy have traveled extensively around the world, with Bora Bora ranking among their favorite destinations. Scott is also committed to giving back to his community through volunteer efforts with Urban Bicycle Food Ministry, helping provide meals to individuals experiencing homelessness in downtown Memphis.
