Marlon Shkaidy
Partner, Financial Advisor
Marlon Shkaidy is a Partner and Financial Advisor with Midlands Financial. For nearly thirteen years he has advised individuals, families, and business owners across Nebraska.
For individuals, his focus is retirement and wealth planning: getting a clear picture of what is there, what it needs to do, and what has to change to get there. For business owners, he works on the decisions the company and the owner face together, including corporately owned life insurance, key employee benefits, deferred compensation, and company retirement plans.
He began his advisory career at Mutual of Omaha and earlier worked in mortgage lending. Today he practices as Midlands Financial, with securities and advisory services offered through Principal Securities, Inc. That range gives him a practical view of how benefits actually get funded, how plans get administered, and where the gaps usually turn up.
Marlon believes good advice is specific. Clients get plain answers, real numbers, and a plan they can follow. He holds a B.A. from North Park University and lives in the Omaha area, where he coaches youth sports.
In his free time, Marlon enjoys coaching youth sports, particularly youth football, where he has found a strong passion for teaching and developing young athletes. He recently began coaching coach-pitch softball for girls, a departure from tackle football but an equally rewarding experience.
