Founded in 2017, Pedal the Pacific began when three friends set out to ride 1,700 miles down the Pacific Coast to start conversations about domestic sex trafficking. What started as a bold idea has grown into a nationally recognized leadership development program that has raised more than $1 million to support organizations working to prevent trafficking and restore hope to survivors.
Each summer, participants embark on a seven-week journey from Seattle to San Diego. Along the way, they meet with nonprofit leaders, survivors, government officials, and community advocates, learning how to become effective voices for change. The experience is about far more than cycling—it's about building resilience, developing leadership skills, and inspiring action.
