I started my career as a financial advisor in 2002 when I joined my husband, Robert, at UBS. My background in mortgage lending started in the 1980’s. I was intrigued with us working as a team to help couples with their financial planning. I found it interesting how differently men and women view their finances and enjoyed the interaction with the couples because I could tell that the women felt represented by having another women in the room who shared their perspective.
In 2005 we decided that we wanted to become independent and started Holland Capital Management. With my background in liability management I work with clients regarding mortgages, and insurances such as annuities, life and long term care.
We are going on 12 years as an independent firm. We purchased an old Victoria in downtown Grants Pass in 2003 and have enjoyed the freedom to serve our clients in a way that is in their best interest. We have another location in Medford to meet with our clients in that area.
We have been involved in the community by serving on boards of non-profits such as the Boys and Girls Club and the Grants Pass Museum of Art. We are still involved in many fundraisers in the area such as the Art for Golf and the GPAR Golf Tournament to name a few.
We strive to help our clients plan for the day when they can enter into the voluntary unemployment phase of their life and maintain the lifestyle they choose.
