As the Managing Partner, LPL Financial Planner, and Investment Advisor Representative at The Financial Planning Group, my primary responsibilities revolve around fostering and maintaining client relationships, financial planning, and investment management. With over 27 years in the financial services industry, I've developed a specialty in educating clients to prepare them for the financial planning process. I firmly believe that knowledge fosters confidence and empowers individuals to ask the right questions, using their financial planner as a personal guide.
In 2009, I earned the Certified Wealth Strategist® (CWS®) designation, further cementing my dedication to this field. To learn more about CWS, Click Here. This followed my completion of an MBA from Bryant University in 1996, which laid the foundation for my career.
What drives me in my work is the opportunity to help clients make informed financial decisions. The most rewarding aspect of my job is working with families to guide them through the complexities of financial planning. Together, we determine the best mix of investments and insurance to grow and protect their wealth. I believe that the greatest value I can provide for my clients is not just in creating a financial plan, but in providing the financial education they need to make informed decisions. It's also in the follow-up, keeping all components of a financial plan organized and in focus.
Born and raised in Southern California, I now reside in Oak Hill, Virginia with my wife, Angel, and our two children, Ezra and Kate. One of my personal goals is to build a solid financial foundation for my family, and to educate my children to do the same, so that they know their future was always a consideration in my planning. Beyond the realm of finance, I'm actively involved in my community as a lay leader at my synagogue. I lead services, Shiva Minyanim, read Torah, and chant Haftarah. Additionally, I take pride in teaching 6th Grade Religious School. I also enjoy tennis golf as they provide a health atmosphere to develop skill, compete and develop relationships.
