About Our Events

The Bulfinch Group is proud to be an integral member of our community. We are an active member of the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce, and our firm holds many events to educate area individuals, families and business owners about wealth management including risk management, estate and charitable giving, retirement and college planning and more.

The Bulfinch Group Charitable Foundation holds an annual Golf Tournament at The Golf Club at Sacconnesset, Falmouth, MA. Last year’s tournament raised approximately $75,000 which the Foundation distributes through grants to a number of local nonprofits including providing “Community Cornerstone” grants to the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham and Riverside Community Care.

Past Events

1st Annual Chili Cook-off - November 14th, 2019

There were plenty of surprises at The Bulfinch Group’s Chili Cookoff. Nearly 50 chili enthusiasts gathered in teams to create their own chili specialty before the healthy competition took over. Nine teams worked enthusiastically to create their own secret recipes before tensions rose as the judges walked around, tasting each secret recipe. Finally, the big announcement came and the top 3 finalists were declared: 3rd place – The Chili Sisters; 2nd place – The Chili Chili Bang Bangs; and 1st place – The Chili Dippers. The evening was full of laughter, camaraderie and friendly competition. A shout out to the MIT Endicott House for creating a magical evening for all chili enthusiasts.

12th Annual Charity Golf Tournament - September 16th, 2019

The 12^th Annual Bulfinch Group Charitable Golf Tournament was held on Monday, September 16th in Falmouth, MA at TGC at Sacconnesset  (www.tgcgolf.com). Proceeds from this exciting day of world class golf, golf clinic, lunch and dinner benefitted The Bulfinch Group Charitable Foundation (Tax ID 80-0930674). The Foundation annually provides financial support to vital area nonprofits including Riverside Community Care's Trauma Center, the Beth Israel Deaconess-Needham Hospital, and numerous other charities in the communities we serve.
