Chandler Stone is a Financial Advisor at Sierra Consulting Group, where he works with individuals, families, and business owners to bring greater clarity and coordination to their financial lives. That philosophy is a natural extension of Chandler's professional background. Before joining Sierra Consulting Group, he co-founded a multi-million-dollar startup and served as its corporate CFO, overseeing the company's financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, tax planning and compliance, and financial reporting. His experience managing the financial health of a growing business shaped his belief that families can benefit from the same type of comprehensive financial oversight and forward-looking planning that successful companies rely on.
Chandler also holds the Behavioral Financial Advisor™ (BFA™) designation, which brings principles of behavioral finance and psychology into the financial planning process. The BFA™ framework formalizes an approach Sierra Consulting Group has long embraced: good financial planning isn't simply about finding the mathematically optimal solution. It is about understanding what matters most to each client and helping them make thoughtful financial decisions that align their money with their values, priorities, and vision for the future.
As an advisor, Chandler believes the best financial plans should evolve alongside a client's life. His goal is to help clients see the bigger picture, understand the tradeoffs behind important decisions, and coordinate the different areas of their financial lives so they can move forward with greater purpose and confidence.
Chandler earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University, with an emphasis in International Business and Business Management, and is fluent in Spanish.
Outside of the office, Chandler enjoys traveling, reading, fitness, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Olivia, recently welcomed their first child—an experience that has given him an even deeper appreciation for the importance of planning not just for financial success, but for the people and opportunities that give that success meaning.
