Brody brings over 15 years of experience in defined contribution plans to Ipswich Bay Advisors where he has worked in a variety of different roles, working with companies of all shapes and sizes. He excels at helping plan sponsors with fund screening, plan design, keeping “all in” costs to the plan low, and finding the right plan to fit that particular business’ needs. He is also very passionate about employee education, including making sure that all employees that he meets with that enroll understand the benefits of participating in a retirement plan and what they are investing in.
His background ranges from leading the largest sales consultant team as a District Sales Manager at Paychex, Inc, where he and his team worked with small to mid-sized companies on setting up and converting 401(k) plans; to working with larger corporations as a Major Account Retirement Services District Manager at ADP; to his most recent position as Regional Sales Director at Mutual of Omaha. Brody has been recognized nationally, won several awards, and was selected to be a point person with the rollout of an acquired record keeper to the entire sales force nationwide. His zeal for retirement plans and coaching on the benefits of them has been the main driver behind his achievements.
At Ipswich Bay Advisors, Brody is working with current and new clients on making sure that they are in the best retirement plan for them. There are many reasons behind why a company sets up a retirement plan for their employees, and many different directions that you can go, and it is one of the most important decisions that you will make as a business. It is imperative that you work with someone who understands this, and who’s main goal is to constantly work on improving your plan and assist in getting you and your employees’ retirement ready.
Brody holds his Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism from SUNY Plattsburgh. He also has a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University School of Business and Public Management.
