Eric Rouen

Eric was born in New York and spent his early life in the eastern portion of the United States, residing in Louisiana, Connecticut, and Tennessee.   When he was ten, his family settled in Elk Grove, California where he attended school and eventually graduated from Elk Grove High School.  Thereafter, Eric attended college at Sacramento State and received a BA in Social Science.  Most importantly, while there he met his wife of more than 16 years. 

After college, Eric attended McGeorge School of Law.  During law school, he gained valuable estate planning knowledge while clerking for various estate planning attorneys.  In addition, he took classes geared towards estate planning, ultimately graduating from McGeorge with a tax concentration. 

Upon passing the bar examination, Eric worked at a law firm in Lodi, California, which represented teachers in employment related matters.  In 2011, he opened his own practice in Amador County, choosing to go back to his law school roots and focus on Estate Planning. 

Aside from running his practice, Eric is the father of two school aged children.  For the past 14 years, he and his wife make their home in Ione, California.  In addition, Eric is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Amador County Bar Association, sits on the Board of Directors of the Amador Community Foundation, and is the current President of the Jackson Lions Club.
