Andrew M. Mitchell, CFP

Andrew M. Mitchell, CFP

Andrew graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2009 and joined JPMorgan Chase Bank as a Licensed Personal Banker. He was among the top performers in acquiring new banking clients and offering financial strategies to consumers. He was elevated to the position of Client Service Associate, where he acted as the service liaison for Chase Bank’s high net worth Private Banking clients. Although Andrew enjoyed working at Chase, he wanted to have more of a direct impact on assisting his clients with their finances. He joined Nfocus in 2016 so he could work directly with clients to help them build customized financial strategies that support the attainment of their financial goals.

Professional Development

Andrew was highly motivated to provide comprehensive financial advice to his clients so he dedicated a great deal of his personal time during his first few years in the business to acquire the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®)* credential. This credential conveys a high level of understanding of financial principles and confirms to his clients they are working with a professional who has the ability to provide them with a customized plan tailored to their specific needs and financial goals.

Andrew and his wife, Brittany, met in Austin while attending The University of Texas. They now live in Little Elm with their dogs, Hannah and Draper. They both stay busy laying the foundations for successful careers and like to attend local sporting events and restaurants when they’re not visiting with family and friends in the Houston and Nashville areas.

*Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® (with plaque design), and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
